Our Domiciliary we now offer services to children from 0 to 18 years as well as 18+ and can cater for those with needs that are more complex. We often take on the support of individuals whose placements have previously broken down, and require a more tailored approach to their care. We support people with mental health, learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviour, and physical needs. Currently, our domiciliary service provides the people we support with over 3,000 quality care hours per week.
We established our domiciliary care service in 2012, as a direct result of the increasing need for specialist support. At this time, we were primarily a residential service; however, we believed that it would be beneficial for the people we support to have access to a step-down service without the need to transfer outside of Next Care. We recognise that for many people, the idea of moving to a new home with access to greater independence can be daunting; however, having the support of staff you know to help you transition, can make this change less overwhelming.
We do not just support people that have moved on from our residential services. We offer a variety of support packages to people that need extra assistance, but do not want or need to leave their own homes. The great thing about our domiciliary care service is that your care is tailored around you and your unique needs. We do this by delivering person-centred care planning to each individual, which allows us to provide care that is distinctive to you.
A core benefit to remaining in your own home is that it supports the feeling of greater independence, as well as maintaining a sense of stability. We endeavour to shape the support we offer to your personal preferences, and to accommodate your schedule, by providing a high degree of flexibility to your call times. This also means we can adapt your care package to your changing needs, whether this means increasing or decreasing support.
Next Care are able to continue support individuals that present behaviours that challenge, even within a domiciliary setting. We have robust protocols in place for when individuals are not engaging with our service and refusing to allow access to their home. However, we believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to live as independently as possible.

We strongly believe that establishing a good relationship between the Carer and Service User is very important as it helps to build trust,

Continuity of care can benefit service user, so we will ensure that you see familiar faces every time.
This is an excellent care provider. They look after my elderly mum and always show her the greatest of respect. Shamim is my mum's main carer. She never rushes mum and provides a high standard of care. Mum feels valued and loved. Parvin runs the agency and always listens to our needs. She is quick to resolve any issues. I would highly recommend this company.
